My dragoons… eh, hussars, are ready to take on the field of battle!
Here follows a small review of the modification, which I bought from puppetswar.eu:
Delivery-time was quite long, I believe somewhere between 4-6 weeks. Washing them is a good idea, as they seemed to have some dust particles of sorts. The mold-lines were a bit of a nuisance, as they didn’t exactly follow an easy-to-hide sort of way. As you can see in the pictures, you have to make some room on the back. The small camera had to be removed, as well as the seat-rail on the back. One of the antennas were removed as well. The wings themselves fit quite nicely; if you want a perfect fit you will need to add some greenstuff, or file down the wing-pack a bit. I settled with strong glue, making sure at least three different contact-areas were there to make it sturdy. They should hold fine, though a drill and pin is arguably the best option. All in all, a very easy modification, and I’m more than satisfied with the result. The model itself could use a few more hours of detail to make perfection, and I might return to it later on. But for now, I feel happy to field them on the board. I haven’t thought out any interesting basing yet, I’ll return to that part once all three are done.
That’s a cool convertion! Nice paintjob!
